Here’s my big worry if the Oilers come back to win it all:

Not only will the media never shut up about the Oilers for the next decade or so (until whenever they fully bottom out again) but I can almost guarantee everyone and their dog will be anointing them as the “greatest single season team of all time” given the 3-0 finals comeback, McDingus’ playoff record, and their garbage start to the year that they “miraculously” came back from. Ughhhhhh. Oh and their 16-0 streak against a bunch of bottom feeders.

I don’t know if my sanity can handle that…

Well, I'd say that pretty much seals it at this point. And the filthy despicable Oilers will likely be carrying the Cup around Florida's rink in 3 days' time.

This timeline is just the absolute worst.
