What a run by Davies, Buchanan needs to show more composure there

Davies is one of the most exciting attacking players in the world, but man, he just let Di Maria waltz by him like he was standing still.

Canada have been the better team, very impressive. Should be at least one up with all the chances they've had.
Messi just doesn't run at all when Argentina don't have the ball. A bit sad to see.

Man we’re playing well. Huge effort so far! Larin is showing a level he didn’t show in the friendlies, great to see. Millar and Davies having some joy down the left. Buchanan looks like a guy who hasn’t played much lately. He just needs something to go right for him.
Crepeau and the CBs need to work on some communication and Koné needs to compose himself and stop giving the ball away. Might be a candidate for an early sub

So proud of that half, they are playing their asses off in a very hostile environment

This is great! Messi is going to run out of steam and maybe Canada can steal one here!

Argentina is the better team, but my god … Canada does NOT look out of place.
One of the best halves I’ve seen them play.

Great half.
Yes they're exposed a bit at the back when they lose the ball in midfield, and they are aware that they will because the chase back is organized (outside of the terrible Kone giveaway ).
And Crapeau is really playing like a sweeper, also part of the plan. Borjan would have three stomach issues by now if he had to play like that.
And positive confident movements forward which is good to see.
That said it's one flick from Messi to turn a game.

Would not mind Davies pushing up to wing. Lets go for the goal. He has a step on Molina and Romero

When times up, and the second half is supposed to begin, just drop the ball and start.
See how long it takes for Argentina to get out when they go down another goal every 15 seconds.

Well that was weak defense. The floodgates are likely opened now.

All caused by a #### touch back to Davies by Estaquio on the throw in that Davies took. Argentina throws it in and it's a goal in 10 seconds. And Kone needed to shut down on Messi and not let the ball through.

Wileman is so focused on stats and history of previous games and where they are playing or from.
He's not the soundbyte used for the historic Davies WC goal, becuase his first words our of the mouth talked about him missing the penalty on game 1 while the other announcers were excited about the goal.
Perfect example, he is rambling on about Sergio Aguero while they show highlights of Canadas best chances on the second half and a clear foul on Bombito.
