If Jacob started next season with us the way he ended last season, his value would plummet pretty quickly, despite NJ admitting they like him.
Trade aligns with most of Conroy's work so far, and the general market. Just need to wait three months for the season to start to see how Marky does, and another year or two to see who we get.

Nope not you specifically, whelmed is understandable.
With Saros going public with his wanting to go UFA and see offers I think Craig capitalized on the deal in principle and didn’t push as hard as he was earlier on.
I think it’s a touch above that, but to each their own!

I know we’re all fans here, so it’s probably hard to understand. But people gotta get over this idea that media are fans of rival teams and they hate the Flames.
Covering the NHL is the job of the reporters who work for the Athletic. The thing they sit down at the desks to do every day to pay the rent. They’re fans of the sport, not of teams.
There are 32 teams in the NHL. Do we really think reporters have strong emotional feelings about them?
Avalanche: Fan!
Bruins: Fan!
Canadiens: Hate!
Flames: Hate!
Hurricanes: Fan!
Islanders: Fan!
Jets: Fan!
Kings: Hate!
Kraken: Fan!
Oilers: Fan!
I guarantee they don’t. This is how they feel about NHL teams:

Bruins: Neutral.
Canadiens: Neutral.

Not sure if mentioned already but Seravalli made a good point about the return, it's been over 10 years since a goalie returned a 1st round pick. The return is fine.

He seems like a Zadorov-lite that could potentially be here for a decade, I’d love it if he stayed. I think he is a solid #4 when all is said and done.

James Tanner. Bio...part time bee keeper. What else is there to be said. His opinions on Craig Conroy likely have Craig up at night I'm sure.
Hopefully he learns to keep his yap shut with Chief now coaching the Leafs ...another Craig who'll likely not GAF about anything he thinks or says

McSlippers up north decides he doesn't want to play for the quacks anymore.
If the Flames offer them 6x 1st round picks? They would definitely accept that.
To say that a 1st round pick is worthless or not a top asset if its not in the top 10 is an asinine take.
