Technically, Muslim kids and Christian kids worship the same supernatural mythical figure (the God of Abraham), but most Christians aren't even aware of that fact and those that are tend to twist themselves into knots so they can treat Muslims as lesser people.

That's debatable. Most Christians believe in the Trinity. Jesus = God (plus throw in the Holy Ghost, but that one is even more ridiculous). Muslims don't believe that.

Yes, Christians believe that Jesus is the messiah and that their singular monotheistic God takes three different forms of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. That doesn't change the fact that Jews, Christians, and Muslims all worship the same mythical entity, albeit in different ways.

Even the Vatican made this part of the official doctrine of the Catholic Church (which is by far the largest Christian denomination), during the Second Vatican Council.

The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.

To accept that, though, you have to buy the BS that a monotheistic god can take three forms. That's logically impossible and I don't accept it. If the Christian god is one god in three forms it cannot be the god of Islam because that god only has one form.

If Jesus is the son of God, then they aren't the same thing, obvs. It's just such a joke to pretend that isn't stupid AF.

I do appreciate your post about the pope saying they're the same god. I'm not saying anything negative about the context you're providing and I appreciate what you're saying as accepted by many in the various denominations of Christianity. I'm just saying it makes no sense and is beyond stupid.
