I do feel better about Tkachuk though, he wasn't winning any cups as a teams best player anyway. Too bad Brad blew the 1st or the trade would look alright, could have been and home run if he flipped Huberdeau or if Huberdeau didn't fall off a cliff.

Tkachuk was far and away the best player for the Panthers tonight though.

Maybe for half the game in a game they lost. He has one goal Vs. the Oilers in his last 9 playoff games against them. He wasn't gonna carry the Flames to a cup he is a 4 or 5 on a cup team.

Well nobody was good in the first half so by default that probably makes Tkachuk the best player on the ice for the Panthers tonight.

When Bob or Barkov is their best player they usually win, those guys carry this team. Just saying the Flames were nowhere near a cup even with Tkachuk. He is a good support player not a best player on a cup winner.

Three bad goals tonight by Florida, very uncharacteristic again. Montour with a terrible pass on the PP that lead to a breakaway and Bob can't stop Connor effing Brown. Second goal off of Hyman's leg, bad bounce. Third at the end of a good PP kill and Stenlund can't skate with Corey ####ing Perry who is back door wide open for the goal. And then fourth goal Bob with an absolute stinker.

Again, very uncharacteristic game from them. I guess it's the nerves for some of the guys but Bob is a mental case like he has always been and could go on for a several month long brutal stretch. Other guys need to pick it up, I have zero faith Bob will.

we are actually lucky as hell the Oilers didn't win game 1...3-2 lead might be flattering for the Panthers right now. Just win a ####ing game, hopefully game 6. Oilers should have some pressure back on them now.

Starting to think the Panthers might be done. Their one edge in this series was goaltending and they don't appear to have it any longer. Barkov suddenly looks like crap. Team lottoball suddenly in the drivers seat. I can't see the Panthers winning in dumpsville so it's all going to come down to game 7. Hopefully they can find their best 60 minutes of hockey before it's too late. But I have my doubts.
