Maybe this was discussed already. but why the hell would tkachuk make that comment that he figured they’d win tonight? He hasn’t been great in the series, so he’s hardly been a difference maker. And you know the media will run with it and it will also provide a massively motivational bulletin board quote for the oilers. There’s confidence, then there’s mouthing off and giving the other team more motivation, coming off a huge win. Stupid quote chucky.

The Panthers were awful that period outside the first 4 minutes. Soft high stick call on Kulak leads to the first goal and then a soft call at the end of the period allows the Oilers to start the 2nd on the PP.

Skinner gets ####ted on this site, but he's a good goalie. He's a big reason the team even made the playoffs after their abysmal start.
