certainly expected more from Denmark ... that was pretty underwhelming. Slovenia were poor in the first half, but turned it up in the second. Felt like they were closer to the win than Denmark.

Thats pretty much what I was expecting. They've got some talent, but it was going to go back and forth.
Like...who did Denmark think was going to score for them other than Eriksen? Hojjund?
Eriksen is at least talented but also very much on the wrong side of his Prime.

Jonas Wind also had 11 goals and 7 assists in Germany. That's not nothing.
on paper, it's a decent team. Certainly more talent than Slovenia.

I find this narrative kind of funny. You can classify it as a 'Bayern Failure' if you want, but that is ignorant of the fact that Leverkusen never lost a single game in the Bundesliga.
Even if Bayern had taken 2 games off of Leverkusen it wouldn't have been enough. Sometimes you just get beat.
