Panthers would be wise to stay in Calgary next two nights. Common sense and the better option at the best of times. However now, you know the rubes up there will be trying to pull 4am fire alarms and prank room calls at the Florida hotel so they can brag about it on AM radio.
Well, it would leverage the Covid video for the Edmonton bubble when they used the mountains to sell Roger’s place.

My god this couldn't have been scripted any better for these scumbags the grease brought in. Karma catches up with Kane and can't go tonight. Perry has a meltdown and, on the biggest stage there is, looks like the d*ckhead we all know he is, disputing a play where he sat on the goalie. Nice job Holland.
That article seems like satire, they’re that insecure.

“After that sign was taken down we were just the city of Edmonton. That’s not something to rally behind. The city is great but it doesn’t inspire anything and we need inspiration and reminders of who we are and why we do things.”
Most cities have a city limit sign and that’s about it.
I hit unmute last night just as he said this, and my wife and I almost fell off the couch laughing. "we could be up 2-1" uh, ya, except it's not. It's 3-0, you loser. That's not how any of this works.

As bad as the Oilers were for a decade, they were never underdogs.
They are without a doubt the most popular team in western Canada.
This is what has been driving me nuts all post season. An obsessively insecure team.
The team, its media, its sweatpants and stained tank top wearing fans can't stop professing themselves as the biggest underdogs that no-one ever believed in.
In most offseason/October predictions they were either the most picked or in the top two to be cup winners. Oddsmakers had Edmonton as one of the safest bets for winning the cup. Sportsnet can't cover anything without talking about how incredible the oilers and Mcdavid are.
Yet everywhere I go if there is an oilers fan its them talking about how everything and everyone has worked against them all year but they have had to climb out of the pile like a scrappy underdog. They demand we all cheer for deadmonton because the are "Canada's Team", yet they proudly state how they would never cheer for Calgary if the positions were reversed. Insecure and sad that the rest of Canada is exhausted of the non-stop conspiracy accusations everything in the oilers orbit are constantly making.
I don't like watching those losers get success, but knowing that they will be so high on the smell of their own farts that they will spectacularly fail at managing the modest increase they have for the cap this year. A first round loss is a sign that things aren't all there, but a cup final loss will convince them the dynasty has arrived and they just need a few more bad contracts to push them over the edge.

I member when he used to get away with that nonsense in Anaheim.
It appears Edmonton was the last Canadian team to get swept in the Stanley Cup finals back in 1983. Too funny that they could be the newest Canadian team to get swept in the finals again.
