Well Tkatchuk and Bennet obviously but then you have Gulutzan although he's a coach
You have a Markstrom for picking us over the Oilers and I think James Neal rounds it out nicely

The irony to me is that so many Oil fans on social media relish in posting the McDavid post game celly from 2022. It turns out that goal and the aftermath was his undoing in 2024. Which makes me laugh maniacally.

Actually you are 0-5 this year against that team so no you haven't shown that.

Lol. Calgary has more wins against Florida this year than they do.

Saw a stat that Nurse finally was +1 in a game. Took 18 games but he did it.

And third too. Perfect deflection right over the pad. Most of those just hit the goalie in the pad.

Skinners already looking for his next contract..on another team. That's legit the vibe I got off the post presser. I legit don't think he believes the team has it to come back .

At the risk of jinxing it, *if* the Coilers had to make the SC Final, it couldn't actually be going any better:
* looking like a possible sweep after being gifted one of the easiest paths to the SC final in history due to opponents/injuries/overperforming power play
* Oilers' dominant PP completely invisible in final
* Panthers showing that a goalie standing on his hand beats out the "best player in the game" (Sportsnet™)
* Most Oilers - top stars, secondary scoring - below average to non-existent
* overpaid Nurse (worst contract in the league?) setting a record for minus in the playoffs
* Draisaitl potentially having his last hurrah with the Oilers
* McDavid possibly soon to follow Leon out of Edmonton
* the beautiful variety of ways the Oilers are losing:
1. have nearly twice as many shots as Florida in game one but get goalied by Officer Bob who makes some incredible saves
2. go into the third tied 1-1 in game two but give up three unanswered goals and lose 4-1.
3. flip the script in game three. Go into third down 4-1 and nearly complete the third period comeback but come up one goal short after managing not much in the way of pressure with the goalie pulled.
* feelings are mixed for many of us but for me, seeing two former fan favourites with the Flames possibly win the Cup (three if you count Lomberg) is pretty cool
...and of course, the potential for Tkachuk to possibly raise the Cup in Edmonton is the absolute cherry on top of everything the hockey gods are providing us!

Reason: keep thinking of more reasons this final feels like poetic justice

Pissy has packed it in.

Pissy doesn't even seem the pissy in the post game interviews. I think you're right and he's just done.

Looooooooooooooch

Nobody is jinxing anything by saying they're going to get swept.
They're a terrible ####ty team that do not belong in the finals. This fact was true even before Game 1.
They're going to lose and it's going to be glorious.
Timeline will finally be corrected and we can rest assured the rest of the continent knows how truly truly ####ty this team is.

It's unbelievable to me that after his performance tonight, people still won't call him out for it and instead talk about how great he is. Biggest game of his life in an essentially must win and Mcdavid was invisible. He didn't show up when it mattered.
