My effen van died yesterday - 300 dollar tow job to the mechanic and it's gonna be a few grand to fix, so, that's not happening. Also found out a friend is in the hospital after a car accident. Then the Oilers lose. All in all a pretty awesome day.

I typically avoid leaving the hotel if possible and never make eye contact with any of the locals in their natural habitat.

I thought it would be a while until we saw a Stanley Cup finalist as deplorable as the 2011 Canucks but this Oilers team is giving them a run for that title. This is a team of whiners and cheaters that only an Oilers fan could love.

That would play right into the Oilers and is likely exactly what they are hoping for. The Oilers only hope in this series is to get the Panthers running around and taking dumb penalties. They are just way too good to lose a best of 7 to a team with 5 decent forwards and 2 defencemen.
Considering nobody on the Panthers even wants to talk about the hit, I think they are well prepared to ignore it and go home with a Stanley Cup.
