That team cheats and cuts corners whenever and however they can. Just in ways many don't notice. They always seem to get away with those kind of things. They're too afraid to call anything against the league's darlings.

But with respect to Barkov, very succinct. Grim. Calm demeanour, but seems to me behind that calm demeanour he was furious.

They asked him a few times. Paraphrasing,

“Any update on Sasha”
“No”

“Should the league be looking at (the elbow)”
“The league looks at every hit”

“If it wasn’t a 3-1 or 4-1 game, could Barkov have returned”
“It was 2-1 with 9:28 left. I’m not holding him”

“You don’t seem to be (giving a response to the Draisaitl elbow). What are your feelings on the Draisaitl hit”

I suspect broken jaw. I wonder how the league will reconcile Barkov either missing games or showing up wearing a fishbowl, but them not suspending that dirtbag
