Alcaraz now has more slam titles than the entire 90s
Also first man ever to win first 3 slams are 3 different surface.
Looking forward to the Olympics back here in a month!

Also a Stamps win on Friday night and an Elks lost yesterday. Pretty good weekend of sporting results.

Yeah, I didn't see the end of the match, but if I was going to grade Charlie's tennis today on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 6.5 (maybe a 7 if generous). In other words, Zverev had a golden opportunity for his first slam and pissed it away.

Zverev played a really good match and Alcarav didn't play no where near his best today. My favorite stat is Zverev is now 0-5 in sets when he has a chance to win a slam

I would say that Zverev played a really good match for three sets. Sets 4 and 5 (I just watched the last set that I PVR'ed) he played not to lose instead of trying to win (i.e. waiting for Alcaraz to make a mistake instead of taking ownership out there).

Yep he absolutely started pushing the ball like a coward even though it was clear that Carlos didn't have much legs left. Cabeza, Corazon, Cajones, the choker has none of them.

I should have clarified that Zverev played a good match for him. I don't think he can play much better than today. But He still completely collapsed as we all knew and hoped he would.
Also this is the 17th time a Spanish man has won the French Open since 2002

The USA has won 52 mens Grand Slam titles in the open era, before Nadal won his first, Spain had 7 and they now have 32. After Carlos retires Spain might take over the #1 spot.

Carson Branstine update - She's battled some injuries over the last couple of years, but she's back and playing some fine tennis. Still only 23 years old (turns 24 in September), so plenty of time to make her mark on the WTA tour if she continues this trajectory.

Looks like Gaby Dabrowski is fully fit as she has reunited with Erin Routliffe and they are playing doubles on the grass at the Nottingham Open this week.

It’s a great day for Canada — and therefore the World.

Good to see everyone hitting their stride.
I was most impressed by Milos as he was surgical against a pretty tough grass player in the 37th ranked Thompson. Somewhat concerning that he is again wearing tape on his leg in his first match in months, but hopefully this is merely preventative.
If Milos can navigate his way through RBA he will likely get a pretty huge and helpful test against DeMinuar. He needs points so here's hoping he can continue to roll and get through the event fit.
