Hopefully not from suspect eBay suppliers. I I bought a few pieces and regretted it as soon as I received them. Now I am trying to think of a way to discreetly throw the stuff away without wife getting agitated.

Just wanted to say Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there!

These are really challenging times for many people, especially for parents with multiple children.

If you kids are very young, know that they look up to you and will follow the examples you set. There are so many great years ahead of you.


If your kids are older they still need you from time to time, for guidance in different parts of their lives.

If you wanted to single-handedly make a species go extinct, which one would be easiest to take out, assuming you were totally above the law and made of money? Caveats: you can't use WMDs, poisons, or anything else that will harm other species. Your success needs to be somewhat verifiable...e.g. you can't claim to have extinguished a species that's barely ever seen. We can't count the Northern White Rhino, which is already "functionally extinct" (no males left).

So which species and why? I think it would have to be slow-breeding and large so you could easily find them all. I think it goes without saying it would have to be a land animal for your success to be verifiable; the ocean is too big and mysterious. What else?

I think this would be a good job interview question.

One of the funniest (but saddest, if you think about it too much) things on this site is when guys PM me a “#### you” completely out of the blue. Like, haven’t interacted in months, not in an active conversation of any kind together, nothing… and still just a random message trying to talk trash.

I wonder what percentage of people on here have serious mental health issues. It’s gotta be 10-20%, right?

I wonder what percentage of active posters have gotten a PM like that. I've never had anything remotely like that, although I only have about half as many posts as you. Still, I think there's a chance your posting style just brings out the best in people...

I’m not even talking about the people who send me nasty messages while we’re actively going back and forth on some topic, that’s whatever. I like that (so long as it isn’t, like, “kill yourself” or something).

I’m talking about the “I forgot you existed as a poster” surprises.

But yeah, you think there’s a chance my posting style does it? No #### lol. I get posters trying so hard to “call me” on something they call me ignorant for not praising Swiss Chalet lol.

I can give you some tips if you want a spicy PM once in a while. We’ll get you from boring to blazing in no time. One way trip to poster flavour town.

My pick is the loveable Giant Panda. I don't even know how they survive as it is, and in fact are now flourishing thanks to all the initiatives and efforts of China. But the Giant Panda only eats bamboo and I think it has to be a specific type as well. If you watch any panda videos, you'll notice they're basically dumb too lol and not vicious at all. They're all located in the same region in China, so would be easy to find, and due to their very limited range of food they eat, it'd be fairly easy to kill them all off by eliminating their access to bamboo through various ways anyone can come up with. But yeah, my pick would be the Giant Panda though I'd never do it as I love them, because who doesn't love pandas?
