I want to like Zayn but he's been meh since leaving the Bloodline

If the rumours are true, I'm looking forward to him rejoining the Usos and Roman vs Rock, Solo and those other two Samoans.

NXT also doesn't appeal to me much, but I understand it's for a younger audience.

AEW is having it's challenges too, but I prefer the underdogs and the smaller guys. Gonna keep my pulse on MLW, GCW, TNA and Japan. Variety is the spice of a wrestling mark.
Uso/Yeet thing is the worst thing they have on TV right now.

Possibly unpopular opinion:

Dave Bautista has had a way better film career than the Rock, and possibly the best film career of a wrestler-turned-actor in history. And that includes Terry Funk in Roadhouse.

Hey, hey come on man, Terrible Terry should have gotten an Oscar nod as best supporting actor for his role in road house.

I think the Rock in the last few years has become a parody of himself. He's gotten so big that he just attaches himself to big projects, and then plays himself. He was much better when he was breaking into Hollywood.

I will say though he was really good in Ballers.

Also I'm still pissed that WCW didn't book the grudge match between that Horse and Funk. I mean Terrible Terry set up that feud on the fly by cutting a promo on the horse after taking the kick

"You F$$$cking Horse, I'll kick your a$$$$"

How could you not book that in a cage.

Jesus, that spot was dangerous as fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. I'm shocked the horse didn't hit either of them with some sweet chin music.

Thing is it would still be over if he used Yeet 50% less.

He does need to start trying to use it less or else it's going to not be over any more pretty quickly.

The entrance is amazing though, never get rid of that.

Uso is mega over. I'm not his biggest fan either, but it's hard to dispute how far his character has grown in the past 2-3 years. He's a top merch seller, and one of the biggest names in wrestling today. It's kind of hard to believe how much he has grown from being a "twin act" performer for over a decade.

People hated Austin's "What!" Chants, and yet they're still here in 2024. Uso should and likely will win money in the bank. I think Roman comes back to push Jey into becoming the (true) next 'Head of the Table'. I don't think he will ever be at Roman's level, but he'll definitely get a run with the title.

He used to just be the other brother to me. To be fair though Jimmy always "the one married to Naomi".

People watching on TV hated What chants. People at shows loved What chants. Still do. It's an amazing gate keeper for talent.

Can you deal with What chants?

How do you deal with what chants?

Can you stop what chants?

People that seem to be able to answer all three of these correctly tend to be pretty good.

Never thought of it, but when talent deal with what chants well, they instantly are a ton more over.

Now they're putting over The New Bloodline members over as well. What a story that keeps on giving. It's made so many stars, and built up rivals as well (Zayn, Owens, Cody, Seth). Now people are chanting for Roman to make his return. What a brilliantly booked angle. I assume Heyman remains the force behind this... Tonight Solo used the spear (ala Roman), and the triple powerbomb (ala Shield).

It's an amazing piece of work.

PWInsider is saying Ricochet has given notice he will not re-sign with WWE this summer when his contract expires, and he will be written out of WWE storylines very soon.

Ricochet basically took over Zigglers role as the best damn jobber on the roster who could make rising talent look like stars.

And he's going to get that bag from AEW to go have a nice program at the top and then... be the best damn jobber on the roster who could make rising talent look like stars.

Guys is one of the best workers on the planet but needs a mouth piece.

Ospreay has been chatting him up. Surely he bent his ear. Not the biggest loss in the world... now if Chad Gable doesn't re-sign and ends up in AEW that would be a huge boon for Tony's collection.

Ricochet is excellent in the ring, Gable excels at everything.
