This was the big chance for the Oilers to come out and put a stamp on the series as the Cats came out pretty flat. But the Oilers found a way to lose, and Bob moved rent free into the Oilers head.


I expect Maurice who is one of the best coaches in the league will have the Panthers ready on Monday.

I'm not really looking at scoring chances and shots. The question is did Florida get to their game? The answer is undoubtedly yes. If they keep playing like that, it's going to be an absolute meat grinder for Edmonton.

Of all the things Treliving f’d up, Bennett is the worst. The Tkachuk trade had more impact but Tre’s hands were tied. Even the Gaudreau fiasco wasn’t necessarily his fault. But Bennett brought his A game when it mattered most and was a heart and soul guy. When he couldn’t put up points, he did everything else. He was out with the worst linemates continually and had such a short leash when out with better players.

I’m very happy to see him succeed because he deserves it. However, it’s hard as a Flames fan to know we gave him away so obviously bad.

I don't think the Oilers faithful were too hung up on their 10 shot game to clinch the conference.

A team doesn't have to apologize for having an all-world goaltender, just as a team doesn't have to apologize for the lottery balls dropping in their favor 4 times.

Honestly the fans in florida deserve a cup. The hockey culture and fans there are far superior to Edmonton and its just good for the league. A win win situation.
