How many dinners can these kids eat? Are they going for one big group dinner or is a different member of the team taking each kid out one-on-one?

I don’t want flames to pick him. When you guys turn on him like all players I’ll want to murder people here. I’ll def cry when he gets drafted by whoever.

So the obvious question that nobody is asking seems to be, who did the flames take to dinner?

Makes sense though. Calgary is overrun by Oilers fans. I would say close to a 60-40 split Flames fans to Oilers fans.

Tons of oilers fans in Calgary because it’s the nicest place to live though. Don’t blame them for moving

Ah sometimes its touchy.
Hockeydb says Calgary. Elite prospects says Fort Mac as does NHL so Fort Mac it is.
Thanks for the correction. It makes even more sense then.

I wouldn't look to deep into who took whom for dinner. It was also reported in 2022 that Montreal took several players out for dinner, but not Slafkovsky, whom they ended up drafting 1st OA anyway.
It could mean that they already feel settled in on someone and want to give a couple of other guys a last chance to impress one-on-one.

Never wanted Yak as I think he’s overestimated.
Now like him even less!

Overestimated? I’ve seen him anywhere from 3 to mid-teens. Most have him at or after 9 from what I’ve seen.
Could care less what player cheered for what team.

Well, if we want to start evaluating players like we do media and only appreciate those who appear to cheer/support the Flames, how old are Warrener’s kids? Has Steinberg started doing squats?

Basha seems like he was an actual Flames fan, since Gaudreau and Monahan were his favorites, and he chose #34 for Kipper.
Possibly Brunicke as well.
At least Calgary is pumping them out, unlike the entire province of Quebec.

Harry was a prodigy soccer player as well. He was ridiculous. Born in Johannesburg. Great kid!
