Ozy: Doesn't look like just a Liberal problem

There are more than 1 current major scandal much to the dismay of Pepsifree, and with NDP supporting the Liberal government and their policies including the carbon tax, they are complicit with the current government no matter how much Singh tweets.

But what's the problem with this humble request from an experienced politician (with the toppest of top secret security clearance to boot) who knows the ropes?
I'm pretty much convinced that this is a multi party scandal in the making.
I also don't like the idea that the Liberals are promoting that this will be looked at internally. The time is way past for that. This has been brewing for years, it went through two lame duck studies one with Johnson and one with Hough where the Liberals kept documentation from both of them.
The fact is that we have MP's and its been hinted Cabinet members that are working for foreign hostile governments. right now they have access to caucus meetings, secured documents, the government email systems, databases and apps.
These MP's have to have their security clearances taken away and their access taken away, That's the only and I mean only way to be secure.
Does that give their names away, sure, because if there are cabinet members involved then there will have to be a shuffle.
The government cannot hide from this anymore. Nor if the Cons are involved they can't anymore.
This also just isn't an internal thing, our allies have to be taking special interest in this, especially our allies that we share intelligence with, and also technology like for example the F-35, where this government is going to be in possession of proprietary documents and information.

Careful. Firebot is going to lose his ####ing #### if he finds out you’re doing a whataboutism, too!
Liberals only. No other parties can be mentioned (except NDP). ONLY LIBERALS (and NDP).
You can certainly mention Conservatives (or other parties) and bring up their transgressions including in this case, but if you go that route in a situation where a scandal primarily involves the governing party and a report specifically blames that party for inaction and that party has actively acted to squash an inquiry, you better least discuss them at some point to at least pretend you aren't a complete partisan hack .
There's nothing to indicate NDP is in any way involved in the foreign interference (they were in fact negatively impacted), but by continuously propping up the government and not forcing the matter, their words are merely empty words and they are complicit with the government. That's the problem with coalitions and supply and confidence agreements, the junior party is stuck behind the major party's butthole and gets stained by whatever they crap out. Singh effectively is throwing Jenny Kwan under the coalition bus if he doesn't force a vote of non confidence on the issue.
All MPs who wittingly aided in foreign interference counter to our country's national interests should resign or be charged, no exceptions. Maybe Ozy_Flame gets his dream wish and we find a CPC MP wittingly aided, maybe even a high ranking one, I honestly don't give a crap about the party affiliation in terms of need to be charged or forced to resign.
Having unnamed MPs in parliament who have aided foreign interference, or in the one case divulged privileged information to the point where the term illegal was mentioned and which could be treated as treason, absolutely hinders our democratic system.
But that's the difference between posters that lean politically who aren't partisan and are looking for discussion, and ones who only come in to threads with zero value one sided sarcastic quips and partisan whataboutisms.

I continue to be impressed with Kapelos' no BS questioning regardless of the party being questioned.
A new statement from RCMP confirmed that they are investigating, but not commenting on specific investigation details that may have arisen from the new report. There's no hiding from this one and maybe it's time for our governing party to get ahead and do the right thing.
"Posters who aren't partisan looking for discussion."
Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?
Everyone contributing to this banter (including yours truly) has a slant. I detest conservatism and neoliberalism, and Firebot gets salty over liberalism. He's not neutral in the slightest, never has been, like most of us here. Sunrise, sunset.
It’s like someone trained a bargain basement AI solely on mid-2010s popular internet discourse, just obsessed with calling everything a logical fallacy of some kind and totally unable to handle the thought of not being taken seriously or his points not being the most important.
Guarantee he’s said “m’lady” at least once non-ironically.
Is it not completely wild to anyone else that elected representatives of the people of Canada were willingly working with foreign nations against the people of Canada, and now the elected representatives are working to make sure that the people who elected them do not find out who the corrupt elected representatives are?
We are a banana republic.
