I wish! I had tickets to his show last year...and then I get an email from the Calgary Flames about getting Game 7 tickets against ANA. Well I went with the hockey of course, wish I saw him  , and have been waiting for him to come to Victoria now.
He is one of the best guys out there right now IMO!

I totally forgot! Anybody have tix for sale?
Russell Peters should pay me a royalty for all the fans I've brought him. I showed his Comedy Now bit at my hostel in Rome to hundreds of people. 99% of them absolutely loved it.
Funny story. One girl that I played it for actually emailed me about 2 months ago (totally out of the blue) to tell me that she ran into the guy at an airport.
His style of humour is awesome. He is probably the funniest comedian I've ever seen.

I dunno, I must be missing something when it comes to his comedy.
Watching his bits I'm pretty confident 90% of them are just "People of this race are tooootally like this!"
I'm not sure how telling us that South Koreans talk humourously is THAT funny.
Give me Demetri Martin any day of the week.

He is very big, but I assume that if he's doing the ACC, then they'll probably be using the "theatre" function of the hanger. I've never been there when they have used it in th past, but from what I hear, it is only a very small portion of the ACC, and isn't much different or bigger than say Jack Singer in CAlgary. I could be wrong though, maybe they are using the whole arena, in which case.... wow.

I'm with you. Its not like he's the first guy to do racial humour. I don't find it original and I don't find him very funny either.

I love Russell Peters! Seen him live 3 times already!!! Watch all his stuff on youtube, so funny.

I just got back from his show... Frasier Smith opened the show really well.
Russell has some great new jokes
Expect really a good show if u go on Saturday.
