Checo brings a ton of sponsorship money with him. Dude probably moves more Red Bull cans in Mexico and Central America than anyone else. And he seems to be content to be 2nd driver to Max. He may cost RB the constructors championship though.

If RB were interested in selling cans of Red Bull I would bet you that Zhou would do a far better job than Checo. Much rather see Lawson in the seat than Checo.

Plus I don't think RB wants to rock the boat too hard after losing Niewy this year. Less turbulence the better at this point. They're in a place right now where other teams still have to beat them before they have to start worrying about things.

DRS as we know it will be dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We'll see if that sticks, but that's awesome. Sounds like everyone can now use DRS on every single straight...and also a front wing flap opening up.
60 seconds later in the video: Awwe ####...push to pass via ERS. Oh well, hopefully that gives them more flexibility to dial it in, and perhaps adjust within a race weekend more easily than DRS zone length. I've always felt it shouldn't activate based on following distance, but each driver should have a similar amount to ration throughout the race. And I'd be fine with metering it out a bit based on grid and/or championship position, kinda like wind tunnel time.
Another thing I like better about this is that you likely disadvantage yourself by spending more battery to pass, so maybe the other car can be strategic and fight back (perhaps saving battery instead of defending).
It saddens me that all the racing series need a gimmick like PTP or DRS to increase overtake opportunities. The rapid advances in technology have gotten every series into the pickle where the being a talented driver is just not enough.
Good video on the changes for the engines/MGU-K and the chassis/aero. The aero looks likes its going to be incredibly complicated to maintain car balance.
