Here's an article by longtime grease jock-sniffer tychkowski in the Bumonton Sun discussing Tkachuk vs the oilers. As we all know, the EDM Sun makes UK tabloids look like the New York Times.

This little troll, who looks like he's about as athletic as my 90 year old aunt and lives in his moms basement, goes as far to call Tkachuk a turtle and uses a pun about sending him into his shell after the grease sat down the flames in five games. I'd like to see this awkward looking tool say that to Tkachuk in a media scrum.

Okay... so those fans were obnoxious. Embarrassing behavior on the part of the fans. Very entitled to think they can just invade McDavid's space like that.

I would love to see what transpired from the moment they saw him. Did he even acknowledge their existence at all? Was he being a dick right from the get go?

If he greeted them, took a selfie with them and signed an autograph I bet they may have been on their way... probably would have bothered him a bit or kept videoing him until he drove away but still looked like idiots. As for McDavid, based on other similar incidents, I feel like he probably ignored them from the moment they recognized him which made this video look worse than it could have.

Those fans though. The dude is clearly not interested in engaging with you. Leave him the F alone. Show some respect.

People criticized Marner for hiring a security guard. But this is exactly why some players should do it.

He seems like a perfect fit for NY. Gets the money and the fame, can live lavishly, and majority of people don't know or care who he is so he won't have to interact with people because even as popular as the NYR are, they are like 7th on the totem pole in NY behind the Yankees, Mets, Knicks, Nets, Jets, and Giants. Maybe 8th behind random celebrities.
