I wish the boys would just ask him the easiest question a US-based sports reporter could answer:
Was OSU cheering for Michigan to win the NCAA football championship, because they both are in the Big Ten?
Two different states? Okay, will Texas A&M cheer for Texas in the playoff now that they are both in the SEC?

I'm pretty sure they did bring up college football at one point. But Servalelli is just doing this to troll us.
He knows Canucks and Flames fans hate him because he is an Oilers fan. He loves annoying both fan bases.

Yup a week ago they brought up when Pittsburg was in the finals was Philly cheering for them. That's an easy "no", but somehow it's different for TMZ Frank.

According to Frank, the Battle of Alberta isn't on the same level as the Flyer and Penguins.
Here is the recent video of Frank trolling.
Pinder cracks me up the way he just laughs at Frank and challenges him. I bet it got to Frank a little bit too because it so obvious that he has a man-crush on Pinder.

It's two cities facing off trying to win the prize for itself, its organization and its fans. Trying to make it into something else or bigger is forced and falls on deaf ears year after year for good reason. Unless you're in the city that wins it, you don't get to partake in any of the celebrations for that win and no one is shouting you out for jumping on the bandwagon.
It's a national thing when the flag is on the jersey. This isn't that.
I am not saying people should or should not cheer for Edmonton. I do think the lack of patriotism is kinda surprising to some American's, considering this is Canada's #1 sport .
We would be hard pressed to find a lot of NBA, NFL (hypothetically), MLB fans in the USA going gang busters about Toronto winning as opposed to an American based team. The majority of fans probably wouldn't care but in a hypothetical scenario of an American sports team not having won in 30+ years, I would assume the team USA would prevail.
Full disclosure: I actively cheer against Toronto cause I don't want that franchise to win so I totally get it.
Oh man, Frank reached the absolute bottom of the septic tank there and the BB guys pinned him to the bottom and piled manure on him. What a great listen.

His "You're going to cheer for Florida after they fleeced the Flames in two trades?" comment was so dumb. Are you that stupid Frank? Flames fans are going to cheer for any team against the Oilers regardless of how many trades they lost.
Then he looked all pissy when Pinder was making him look stupid.
I think he finally let it go, or clued in, when they asked him if at any point he would ever cheer for the Cowboys in a Superbowl (since he is a massive eagles fan). Of course he said no, never.

I think people who believe Frank’s whole thing is a bit and that he has dumb takes to rile people up should watch this bit.
He’s just dumb. If you’re purposely saying dumb #### to get a rise out of people, you’re not going to act like a baby when you get what you’re after.
And if anyone thinks him being president of the PWHA is some sign he’s smarter than he sounds, well, Mark Spector was the guy before him, and nobody respects that clown.

It's funny but mostly sad that it took him that long.
