Interesting in hearing from anyone who uses a Waterpik. I just bought one.
I’m wondering about its effectiveness.
They work really good but I think you have to use yours more consistently than I use mine to get the full benefits. So basically same as regular flossing.

As someone with not-so-great dental there is definitely a correlation between how diligent I have been with waterpik use and how hard the dental hygenist ends up working on me... it's also not a 1:1 substitute for string floss (use both) but yes, if used regularly a Waterpik is a useful tool.
I have one, I like it. You've gotta keep your thumb on the power button. The first time I used it my mouth filled with water faster than I expected, I opened my mouth and sprayed water all over the mirror.
Easy to use, easy to fill, takes up less counter space, and is plenty strong enough. I charge it about every 2 weeks or so I think? Easy to travel with as well if you want to.

More effective than flossing. I was recommended to start using it because I was at risk of gum recession and that surgery where they cut the roof of your mouth and stick it on your gums to rebuild it. But like all things, consistency is key.
Watch a youtube before you start spraying. Or don't, could be more fun.
I got mine a few months ago. IMO, it's not a replacement for flossing as I still notice plaque when I floss my teeth. Good for getting food particles that were missed during flossing, though.
If you have sensitive teeth, put warm water in the tank.
