Still believe Skinner is the decider as I have since the Oilers acquired Ekholm. I believe the skating roster can hang with anyone since then. Skinner plays average to above average and the Oilers have a good shot to take home the ultimate prize. If he has a couple of stinkers like the LA and Van series, Florida will be too much to overcome.

xGF is a mightily flawed stat, particularly as sample sizes diminish

My favorite part of the playoffs so far is how the oilers single handedly ruined the conditions on two of our draft pick trades by keeping the canucks from getting to the third round and kept the stars from getting to the finals.

It's like crap piled in top of crap, piled on top of crap being a Flames fan.

The best thing for the Panthers should be the experience from last year.

They know what it feels like to go all the way and then lose in the finals. The Oilers have yet to experience that. So hopefully that pays off in the end as extra motivation.

Being a Flames fan reminds me of Happy Gilmore where Happy inserts some money into the batting cage machine and steps in and just lets the machine rip balls at his head and body.

I'm actually not sure which is more painful.
