So, Mcdavid doesn’t do much one game, very little PPs, yet Dallas still loses and don’t get many shots. Now they are peppering skinner and oilers have only 6 shots , but McPP shows up and no goods still winning. The grease seem to be able to beat Dallas in any scenario. I have no more words.

He's a great example of coaching matters. I feel that element gets underrated by a fair chunk on this forum.

He's doing something that none of the previous coaches have been able to produce; the team is playing good defence. That was the running joke on this forum for all these years that the Oilers defence was their Achilles heel. He has come in and flipped it, and it's now their strength.

Good defence where you have a team that can produce Power Plays, and make use of them rather than squandering their opportunities? That's how you win with this roster.

He's doing a good job. Wouldn't have thought that to be the case considering his CV.
