A couple pitches this inning, one a foot further outside: the ball is a strike and the strike is a ball.
Anyway, if it wasn't over at 3-0 it is at 4

Just comical at this point.
Audicous for SNet a few innings to laude Hauge for telling Schneider what to do just before the HR last night.
Kikuchi has had 2 runs or less of support in his last 6 starts now.

Kuch just doesn't have it today.
A bunch of 2 strike counts against bad hitters ending up in hard hit line drives all over the place. Going to be a blowout here pretty soon.

How is that not an error? A 70 foot throw that goes 8 ft wide? Bo is what, 0/8 now as the plate the last 2 games?

Biggio just does not serve a purpose at all anymore. I'm tired of him watching strike 3.

I don't mind Biggio for a bench player, however Daniel Vogelbach should be DFA.

I can't count now how many games I've turned off. What a sad sack team. Can't believe they're just going to keep going like this without sacking Atkins or somebody. Losing, boring baseball.

I can’t count how many games I haven’t even bothered watching. Even Seattle isn’t scared to make changes and they’re leading their division.

If management isn't going to make the big changes that are needed they should at least send down Clement and bring some other youth up to see if they can get some kind of spark out of it. They desperately need any kind of power and Clement isnt even playing good D or fundamentals at this point. They should also flip Turner sooner than later. Vogelbach is hitting the ball well and Votto will be available at some point.

As sad as it is, I think this City Connect hype stuff now in the past, maybe they'll make some tough decisions where it really matters.
Wasting quality start after quality start from the pitching staff. If they score in the first and is 3-1 or 3-2, a totally different game going forward, but, failure again.
Two weeks ago, the easy stretch was upcoming. White Sox x 2 plus Tigers plus Pirates. They're 8-8 in last 16 including 4 wins in a row, with the exactly the same issues John Schneider was telling fans to be patient with on May 1st, plauging them June 1.
Someone may well be left in Oakland or Milwaukee in a week.

I'm fine with it. It's a few games here and there. If this were a great team with guys challenging from the bench to be in the lineup, the team would have to do what it has to. This is clearly an injury situation to resort to something from 5 years ago. It'll be fine.

Not so sure it's an injury thing, it would mean Clement and Biggio would be out.
I think it's getting to desperate measures from the manager and seeing what happens when Turner Voglebach and Vlad are in the same lineup.
