Hey come on now. This isn’t some flimsy meaningless vow like when I got married or testified at that murder trial.

Bring the cup back to Canada. Save us Edmonton. You’re the light of Eärendil.

Slowly running out of teams to beat the Oilers. Dallas has turned into Vancouver

Before any silly, desperate measures, I vote we wipe the latest E=NG thread from existence seeing as it coincided with them rebounding.

It was a poor title and many didn't want it. They were waiting on other options that weren't included in the vote-off.

We protested because part of us knew.. A No Good No-Good title reverses the jinx/hex.

Make things right and jump to XII with the title it should've had.

Please let this nightmare end. This is unbearable. Something just seems off, there’s no way the Oilers deserve to be in the SCF but here we are. Wake up, Stars.

I've just never seen anything like this. Vancouver has them on the ropes and they complete no show 2 games to lose. Dallas had them on the ropes and again 2 complete no shows after the first 10 mins of game 4.

I understand the Oilers get some credit but wtf is up with the effort and compete level? I almost feel like I'm watching some of these players acting like they are in a preseason game.

It's almost like the players all agreed at once to stop playing. This is bizarre.

It’s happening. I raised my kids to be flames fans (despite living in the Edmonton area). But this is too much. The excitement of a deep playoff run is contagious compared to the heartbreak of cheering for a franchise that has only won two playoff series in their lifetimes. This is probably the season that will convert these three boys forever. Sad. 😔

This is just sickening that this was called roughing in the 3rd round of the playoffs.
Whoa, it looked way worse than that from the normal broadcast angle.

Even if by some miracle Dallas wins game 6, you just know they will no show in game 7.

They look like a team that does not give a crap that they are this close to a cup.

It really should have been Colorado. If not for the Nichuskin thing deflating the players, I really don't think the Avs let this sorry team beat them.

I hope I'm wrong, but I've already moved on to hoping Florida can beat Edmonton.

The Stars problem is they don’t really have a game-breaker. Robertson runs hot and cold. Heiskanen is a great player, but you don’t see him take over a game. Without a superstar, in recent years they’ve relied on Pavelski to come up clutch in big games. But age is finally catching up to him.

I’m not too worried, though. The Panthers are a far better team than the Stars. Without a Shesterkin routinely stealing games, the Oilers will get rolled by the Panthers.

Blame Flames ownership because they care more about the arena being an extra 10% full than actually winning Championships. Maybe an Oilers Cup win would be a good thing. It might finally make them realize that winning is more important than the bottom line. These are the moments people remember for decades and create life long fans. No one remembers or cares about all the years you finished 22nd best. You think a single Oilers fan cares about how they got here? They're having the time of their lives watching their team be one win away from the Stanley Cup Finals. Imagine the excitement going into Sunday when you have a chance to close it out at home. Hopefully we get that experience this decade if these clowns decide to prioritize winning over a couple sheckles.

Don't worry, the Flames strategically traded Bennett and Tkachuk to Florida to block the Oilers winning a cup.

Dude, it is luck. We could be as bad as the Oilers were for a decade and then still have to roll a number on a 100-sided die. There was no method to anything they did... They never even tried to be bad. They just were. Hopefully we are smart and get a few breaks here or there and be good again. Their blueprint for success though? No bueno

I'm not surprised that their undiscerning group of rabble rousers doesn't care how they got there. They aren't very sharp.

Dallas you suck.
He's a bad coach because he was pissed off at his team and it came out in the presser?

While I think you are right, we’ve said that about every team that the Oilers have played this post season. In a 7 game series, randomness plays a huge role. And the shorter a series becomes, the more luck can determine the outcome.
