Yes Conroy is a new GM, I wasn't suggesting him being replaced. I meant more like the new CEO of CSEC and potential ownership.

That being said, from all reports at the beginning of the season was to resign all the existing guys and double down on the strategy. The "We don't even say rebuild" mentality.

It wasn't until the flopped out of the gate that ownership got involved and pulled massive contract offers. Other players that were offered contracts like Tanev elected to go and try and win somewhere else, showing a lack of confidence in the Flames plans.
