Agreed. Florida is absolutely stacked and has the superstar talent to match the wonder twins. They also have great special teams. If any remaining team can prevent the unthinkable, it's them.

Even a mismanaged sewer of an organization like the Oilers is going to get their shot at the cup, thanks to having 2 of the elite forwards in the game -- that can only be acquired by getting high top picks. Let's get real, the Flames won't take any lessons from this. I don't know if I want to either, but you're not wrong. Sucks that this is the easiest path to "building" a Championship team.

Oilers are still a bad example since it took 4 1st overall picks (including a generational talent) and top ten picks in 11 out of 13 seasons...but yeah you can overcome bad management if you suck for long enough.
