We had an 18 year old in our grade 9 class. Poor guy was nice enough, but about as smart as a sack of hammers. He passed on his 3rd try and tragically died in a car accident that summer.
Same junior high, another older student beat up the gym teacher. Mr Leverton probably could have won the fight, but he was intent on not striking the student, he took a number of good hits to the head while trying to restrain the kid.
Another older kid, I think he was 17, ended up hauling a substitute teacher to the office when he punched a student. Someone put a tack on the teacher's seat and he lost it.
Birchwood Junior high in Ft McMurray. High school was a picnic in comparison.

Lots of rumors of teachers (male and female) having sex with students. I cannot confirm.

Wasn’t high school but my brother had a traumatic experience. We all had ski day right, he went to St. Augustine. He had a learning disability and that’s where you went. He now makes Avengers movies so he isn’t stupid.
As he tells it, had that feeling in the gut, your arsehole gets itchy for no reason. That’s a warning god gave us.
On the way to Fortress mountain when it was open, those switchbacks. Crap attack. He was definitely not a cool kid at the time. Fat as fata nerd. Just sweating. Nope craps himself. Thankfully he had those elastic bands around the ankle snow pants on the way to a fun day of skiing. Filled both legs up to the knee. No cellphones back then. Everyone on the bus is like “I think XXx crapped himself”. And he did in spades.
Had to waddle into the lodge and phone my mom to drive out and get him, sitting in his own #### for at least an hour and a half then another to get home. He should put that on his resume. That’s character building or destroying.

This led to a masssive argument and in turn we had an assembly, letters went home and the whole deal to ban all marbles from the school yard.

We used to play that all the time to and it ended up getting banned for pretty much the same reason

My elementary school principal was charged with molesting a girl, and had additional charges laid against him after two women came forward saying that he'd done the same to them 10-20 years earlier. He was acquitted in the latter-day case, and the other charges were thrown out. It divided a lot of the school 'community' pretty bitterly. A couple of my former teachers testified in his defence, and a popular sentiment around the school was that the girl who accused him of wrongdoing was part of a clique of brats who concocted the story just to get him fired; a lot of people thought he got railroaded. I saw him years later working a crappy retail job; seemed like a broken man.
Similarly the band teacher at my high school was accused of having a relationship with a student, and at trial was acquitted of sexual assault.

Someone was stabbed out front of Crescent Heights. The chatter was FOB/FK thing, but I don't know if that was actually the case.
In grade 8 or 9, we did a plate tectonics presentation using sugar and salt peter in our plasticine volcano diorama. Plasticine burned or caught on fire, black smoke, fire department, school got out early for the day.

Two of my teachers ended up being arrested within five years after I had them.

I moved with my mom to a new high school, but fitting in was tougher than I thought. I became a target for bullies from at school, all trained in karate at dojo in town. After one particularly brutal attack at a frickin' Halloween dance, I was saved by the handyman.
Seeing my plight, he agreed to teach me karate. His teaching methods were unique, making me do a ton of chores. It sucked, but I learned not just physical skills, but also patience, discipline, and the importance of balance in life.
The real test came at a karate tournament. I had to face the lead bully from the local dojo. Despite an injury, I managed to win the tournament using a special kick, a technique taught by my mentor. Winning the tournament not only earned me respect, but also proved that I was more than just a victim.

Oh man - some of these tales would make great movies. They would need to be expanded upon obviously but I feel the heart of the story is there

I recognize a couple of the stories here. I had Ms. Hanson/Hansen in the Catholic system. She was no picnic but I wasn’t the easiest kid to deal with.
The guy that got expelled for mooning everyone at his graduation had a younger brother who went to school with my brother. We knew the family well. I didn’t feel sorry for him at all, in fact I felt he should have been charged with indecent exposure.
Craziest thing I remember was when I went to school in BC and the rich kids went on a ski trip. My French teacher got suspended for letting a thirteen year old student put an adult video tape on in the bus. Thankfully, her replacement would shape my young life, and none of us missed French from that day forward.

In my junior high handjobs got so common place they were talked about openly as "tractor pull' in the cafeteria. one day in between classes one of the resident sluts (whos now a real estate agent) was wanking a guys crank out in the open.

Calling a (preteen) junior high student a slut is wild. One thing to do it when you were similar ages but being jealous of it 40 years later is another.

Expelled after graduation?
Anyway arresting a teenager for mooning seems a little harsh.

Holy #### this quite the "pick me" post. She's literally the same age as me. You know that's how time works right? She didn't just get frozen in time and become a real estate agent as a pre teen. I'm also... not jealous? The #### is this post even lol

Drama teacher suddenly doing a war cry at the back of the class and sprinting to the front of the class to stand in front of the TV. A stunned class turned to look at him in confusion.
We later learned there was a topless scene in Romeo and Juliet that he had almost forgotten to "censor" before we saw it.

Ha, we watched Zeffirelli's Romeo & Juliet on VHS in English 10. My teacher was a younger woman, and very cool about it: she told us ahead of time that there was some brief breast nudity in it, and as long we (EDIT: the boys; obviously the other half of the class weren't going to see anything they weren't used to seeing in the bathroom mirror in the morning...) were being cool and didn't make a big deal out of it, we were all good.
(EDIT2: )
We also watched Polanski's Macbeth in English 20. There was nudity in that one too, but the kind I wished I hadn't seen...

The fact that you so casually describe a middle school girl as a slut is ####ed up, regardless of how long ago it was or what career the girl chose
