Literally nobody wants a rangers v oilers match up. It would just be a powerplay and penalty kill spectacle.

Give me stars panthers any day. That would be exciting.

I thought me not watching the game was good luck for the stars (worked last two games), but obviously didn’t work tonight. My blood pressure is much better though not having to see Mcdiver and his inbred trash fans. lol who picked Ryan McLeod as one of the three stars ? Healthy scratch last game so scores a goal and they give the goof a star? He would be in the AHL on most other teams: More pro-oilers cheerleading- what a comeback story for him ! F*** off. I’m sure they are calling knobby a genius for putting him and POS Perry back in. Now we get to see more bandwagon clowns in oilers jerseys in Calgary streets.

They’ll be better at home. They’ll come to play. Then hopefully stick it to them in game 6

The Stars pinched too much and gave up way too many rush chances. Clean that up and they'll have a great chance in game 5.

Every game that loser franchise gets to the Cup it gets easier not to watch.

If they get to the final I see going into a full hockey news blackout.

As much as I have been pulling for Dallas since the start of the playoffs and will continue to do so it might be an Eastern cup this season. IDK the teams last night looked way better.

The amount of luck the Oilers have had is unbelievable.

First they get the pathetic LA Kings because Vegas decides not to try in the last regular season game.

Then the Canucks have them on the ropes and decide they are ready to golf come game 6 (and lose their best forward for game 7).

Then they avoid a matchup with Colorado after the Nichuskin thing. You just know Mackinnon and Makar would not be no showing during some games like Dallas has.

Then they draw Dallas who has their top forward injured the first couple games. Then a player who should be in jail instead of playing hockey, injures the Stars best shut down dman.

I hate hockey right now.

How is it that Las Vegas can choose not to try in a game when the reward for losing is getting a tougher opponent in the playoffs, but Calgary can't do that when the reward for losing is a juicier draft pick?

If you are so invested in another team losing that it is ruining your day/week/month, it's probably time to shut off the tv and focus on things that actually matter.

Weird game by the Stars. For the first 15 minutes they were up 2-0 and in total control, then Suter runs over his own goaltender to gift the Oilers a goal and it's game over and they pack up to go back to Dallas.

The good news is that's the first game the Oilers have outplayed the Stars. Game 4 could've easily been a sweep scenario if it wasn't for the posts in OT of Game 1.

The bad news is that the Stars blew a major opportunity to put a chokehold on the Oilers. Coming out of Edmonton winning both games, and then having three straight opportunities to close out the series would've been too much for the Oilers to overcome. Now they just have to win two of the next three games, and winning in this fashion when there backs against the rope will give them momentum. The Oilers have belief they can win this series now.

Wish the Oilers would just die, but doesn't look like they're gonna go quietly into that good night. Stars still have outplayed the Oilers for most of the series, so it's there's to lose still. But the margin for error has now diminished. Stars have to prove they are the better team by winning the series.
