31 teams would take Edmonton's hand of cards every day of the week.

And they would have done a lot more with it.

Someone else used the analogy that they were born on 3rd base, but act as if they hit a triple.

I think the 2024 Oilers are challenging the 2011 Canucks in terms of pure unlikable-ness. That’s an impressive feat. Those Canucks teams were unbelievably unlikable.

Born on a 5-3 powerplay against a 3rd string goalie.

They’ve already surpassed the 2011 Canucks IMO. I’ve never hated a team more than this current version of the Oilers. Bunch of entitled, reprehensible sacks of s***, the lot of ‘em.

They could do with some self reflection to figure out why they’re getting trolled so much.

TSN taking cues from Sportsnet. Someone from Rogers sent over a bag of cash.

I don't think I've ever seen such a blatant strategy by an NHL team in the playoffs... Usually the slogans are 'hard work pays off' etc. 'next man up' (that would actually be really funny as the oilers only have one line). But no.. the oilers slogan is 'draw more power plays because that's all we can do'.

The oilers slogan should be: a lot more (draisaital and Mcdiver playing time) for a lot less.

I can’t wait for that team of losers to get eliminated. This is making a mockery of the sport

I do miss the 80s and 90s where call ins to radio were the medium for getting your voice heard, then pranksters finding a way to get in. Too bad you don’t get those arguments in any media outlet from fans anymore.
