Kulikov caught Wennberg with a big hit as Wennberg was reaching for a puck at the rags blue line.
Got 2 minutes, but it was reviewed for a possible 5 minute penalty.

Panthers have been getting better as the period goes along.
That Lomberg hit was a thing of beauty.

I'm not saying it was predatory/intentional. Just that it looked like it was from the blind side, and caught the head (because Wennberg was leaning down trying to reach for the puck). That's the kind of stuff the NHL loves to penalize.
I'm happy it wasn't; I'm cheering for the Panthers.

Yeah, sorta blindside, but when he actually hit him it was from the front shoulder.
I would agree that the NHL usually penalizes those things immediately, but there has been a precedent set in the playoffs and seven this series that those big hits when done straight on are not going to be called. See the Lomberg hit on Zibanejad.

Also, why are you punishing yourself by watching? I couldn't handle it after the 4th.

Again, NYR isn't necessarily doing anything with their PP but the passing is impressive.

That last shift by Barkov was insane. Just so dominant everywhere on the ice. Unlucky to hit the post.
