I haven't been this annoyed at hockey since the Canucks made the cup finals over a decade ago.
It isn't even that it is just Edmonton. It's one thing if a rival wins. But these guys employ McWhiner, Pissy, the wife beater, Corey Perry, salty Ekholm who suddenly changed his attitude once he joined them, Nurse.
This seriously sucks. If it was just a team that had a bunch of Nugent Hopkins that is one thing. But most of their players are seriously dislikeable.

So McDavid's explanation on the penalty was that he didn't even feel the stick it him and maybe the guys head fell down on his stick?
Embarrassing. Absolutely shows his lack of class. A real leader would say something like "I obviously wasn't trying to get my stick up but in the battle it did and unfortunately hit him. I'm thankful that the boys did a stellar job on the PK so we can have a 2nd life and come back to win."... but no, Connor has to be like an immature toddler. "I didn't do it"
