Don't think there is anything more to this than the fact Berube wants him and he will have the exact same role in Toronto, higher profile because, Toronto. If Berube didn't come calling he'd still be here.

I didn't think he did anything all that special with the PP this year, and when they did produce, it was mostly just Kuzmenko being creative. There was no clear strategy early in the year when the team did have some legitimate offensive weapons. Lindholm was tragically underutilized.
I've got no problems with seeing him go. Thought he was trash all year.

I think he will do wonders in Toronto, Savard is a very smart coach according to everybody around him. It didn't work out here, I wish him all the best.

If Conroy completely forgets to do his job over the summer, and the team comes back with exactly the same roster they had after the trade deadline, they probably will be bottom five.

People are probably being too harsh.
It could have been more a personel issue than coaching, the success with Kuzmenko actually validates that.
We'll see how it plays out, but our PP will probably still suck aside from Kuzmenko and Toronto's will probably be great with Savard.
