This series is precisely why the formatting needs to change, stat.
Probably the 12th and 13th teams of 16 in the tourney and one is seeing the conference finals. That shouldn't happen.

You can blame the betting people for pushing fixed brackets. Fixed brackets bring out crap like this. Bring back reseeding after every round like we used to.
