Obviously they'd be talking about the majority in that context. Not trying to single out Ottawa's butterfly. The majority would cheer for Toronto to lose to Montreal.

Vancouver reeks of "happy to be here" syndrome, where they're happy to be in the second round after missing the playoffs the last few years. Some of the lineup seems to be missing that killer instinct, including Hughes, Petterson, and Hronek. Lindholm, Zadorov, Garland, and Miller have done the yeoman's work for the team. Meanwhile Hughes is being outplayed by Bouchard, and Petterson hasn't provided much. The only Canuck in the top 25 in playoff scoring is Miller. If anything they're lucky to have gone this far.

They are being held up by a third string goaltender, and a player they were attempting to trade at the deadline (Lindholm).

This is playing out ok. At the start the series I said I wanted it to go to 7 with every game going to OT and the Canucks winning. Continue to beat the crap out of eachother and set the stage for Dallas to destroy the Canucks!

Yeah this is why you don’t hope every game goes to OT and game 7. You get this.

Everyone wanting a game 7 can wear an Oiler jersey tomorrow. You freaks.

With a healthy Demko, I think the Canucks would have a chance.

This is true but Oilers out in the 2nd round sounds great...especially after Vancouver gets pounded in round three they will know how far they are

Don’t be dramatic. You know the Oilers will fold like a cheap tent tomorrow. The pissy tears will flow and McHobo will stare around all surly realizing he brought this misery upon himself when he re-upped in that toilet of a city.

He not only re-upped, he went max terms, that's what I don't understand. He could've just re-signed for 5 years and be UFA.

Dammit, that’s a big loss for the ‘Nucks. Hopefully they can still pull this off without him, but I’d say this definitely gives the Oilers an advantage. That’s just terrible luck.

which is crazy considering what their GM gave up for rentals

I feel awful for Brock, just awful. I am glad they caught this before anything happened though.
