After a year the NFL awarded an expansion team in Philly to the same two owners as the Yellow Jackets. The fee was $2,500.

I am the only player in NFL history to be given a personal foul, while carrying the ball.

Lets go through the hints.

A running back in the 1970's.

Playing for a former AFL team (I made a mistake sorry).

I am the only know player to be penalized with a personal foul while carrying the ball.

My team won two Super Bowls.

I am in the Hall of Fame.

The ref took the ball and started to count 15 yards the opposite way. Schula told the ref that he was counting the wrong way. The ref informed him otherwise.

Who said the following?

"We knew in that huddle. This was a group. Destined! To apply the kind of pressure. That had not been seen before."

Who is Neil O'Donnell. I was actually at Super Bowl XXX. My brother and I were anticipating the Chiefs making an appearance and since our grandparents lived in Mesa we organized a trip with some friends. It was quite the experience. We didn't actually get tickets to the game. But we hung around the stadium while the game was on. It was pretty cool.

Good story, attending a Super Bowl game is on my life's 'to do list' for sure. I have only made random trips to the odd regular season NFL game in different cities.

I am a five time All Pro.
I won 5 NFL Titles and 2 SuperBowls. (this should give away the decade and the team).
I am a member of the NFL's 50th Aniversary team.
I gave arguably the biggest block in NFL history. (once you figure out the team, this should give you a clue to the game, then the player)
I also place kicked early in my carrier.

I really enjoyed his commentary about the 1967 Packers on America's Game on the NFL Network. Especially talking about the drive in the Ice Bowl.
