LOL, Jays management just boggles my mind.

Hey its early, they are only 10.5 games behind the Yankees.

Offense is a huge mess for a couple seasons now,

Farm system is lacking, they will need to seriously look at rebuilding

I can't explain how with this sample size into the season, they can keep Atkins. He's strategically misfired bigtime.

Well, as mentioned the firing on a long weekend would get lost in the long weekend media/news cycle, same goes for the GM crawling out of the hole on a Saturday morning of the long weekend.
Though him backing him is a kiss of death to Schenider, this just starts the public clock starting to tick on the need for his words of a "massive" turnaround.

After these Tampa games they have the putrid White Sox 6 of the next 10 games, with a Detroit series in the middle of those.

That stretch really well be the fate of Schneider, certainly if they come up even close to just .500 against the White Sox. Again, the long weekend timing and the notion of 6 games in the next 2 weeks vs the worst team in baseball, sets the deadline on when things have to better or else.

The lack of changes speaks to the sheer cowardice and arrogance of Atkins and Jays management

lol there really isn't much they can do right now but maybe fire Schneider, but what is that going to do?

He's not one of the three core hitters with a .550 OPS right now. He's also not the core player who hasn't been able to figure out how to fix his launch angle for nearly 3 seasons now. Those are the ones that have to figure it out somehow. If they don't, the big changes likely come in the off season.

That Parades is having an adventure.
Terrible decision first to run when Bo can’t pick up a routine ground ball and gets nailed at third.
Then next inning he could’ve tagged Vlad out as he was running to third but defers.
Vlad gets in when Springer gets him in.

Second and third and Biggio panics at the first pitch and lets the pitcher off the hook.

Jansen continues to hit it hard almost every at bat. Pretty few and far between otherwise

Schneider is your everyday leftfielder and leadoff hitter for the rest of the year, it's as simple as that. It's taken a foolishly long time to get to this point where he's getting his chance, lets not blow it Atkins, Schneider and Co.

Another quality outing by Nate. 2 batters 2 runs.

Ends with 4 batters, all 4 on base. Zero outs.

That's the probably with garbage umpiring. The second to last pitch was a not even close ball called a strike. The Rays pitcher then throws it to the same outside location and Jansen has to do a half assed swing, out of the zone, to prevent another bad strike from being called, and grounds out with runners on second and third.
