Wicked stuff by Pop to get out of that inning. Made a Jay killer look real bad.

That was an extremely late appeal to first for the check swing. Vladdy was already half way down the line.

Ump show taking over. Vladdy doesn't usually get that upset.
First a very delayed appeal to first, then a bad strike call. No wonder he's ticked.

Oof. Some perfectly placed fly balls by the Orioles and they have the start of a big inning.

Tough decision but too bad Vladdy didn't let that ball go foul for strike 3.

Definitely looks like a missed tag and Vladdy should have left that! Yup it's definitely hard because all it takes is it to hit something and it stays fair.

The guys are right though, such a quick decision and if it somehow managed to stay fair he'd look like the biggest idiot. I don't blame him for that play looking at it again.

I don't see any conclusive evidence that he's safe.
Umps got it all correct, thankfully. Very close call.

Finally Jays get the "Break" of not being able to see conclusive evidence in their favour.

I think Jano swiped the fingers tips of Santanders hand but definitely inconclusive. Glad the umps didn't give the #### birds another break there.

This team is brutal. Letting the Os hang around all game, not making the play on the first hitter in the bottom of the 9th....ugh. Something needs to change, haven't won a series in almost a month.

One hit after the 3rd inning? Just not enough competitive at bats especially with RISP. Signs of life but just not enough there to be consistent enough to be competitive all season.

I turned it off going into the bottom of the 9th. I knew that the Jays would lose with Rutschman and Mountcastle coming up.
The Jays were given so many chances to score extra runs but couldnt get it done.
Also the Orioles are infuriating. They get so many breaks its incredible. They're like the Oilers of the MLB. Probably not as good as their record suggests. But you cant beat dumb luck sometimes.

They played the best team in baseball and split.
Not a horrible outcome, but unfortunately no timely hits again today

They played 2 games in Baltimore and score 2 runs through 9 innings in both of them. The fact that was good enough to get a split shows how good the pitching is, but man Kikuchi/the bullpen are probably frustrated with the lack of run support there. Stranding bases loaded in the 5th in particular is not a good look.
