Most I've managed to watch of a game so far in the playoffs. Thought the Canucks looked totally gassed the whole night. Not sure what's up with them, whether it's elevation or norovirus or too much effort playing defence last game.

Whatever it is, they better fix it back at sea level. But I can't imagine either of these teams getting through the next round anyway.

Is there any media coverage or social spamming of the Kane crosscheck to the face that should have been 5 and a game, but instead was a made-up double minor (which isn't one of the optional penalties for crosschecking... according to panel dude on TV, the only options are 2 mins or 5 and a game)?

Vancouver sits back in most of their games. Must be part of Tocchet's approach, but it doesn't make a lot of sense. Not only that, they give away possession to the other team when the puck is recovered instead of holding on to it and setting up to make a rush of their own. It comes off like intentional rope a dope or an extended PK..

I can't understand what Tocchet is thinking here when they have depth they do, and yet they're 2-2 in the second round and could easily be up 3-1.

Just imagine where they'd be if they were executing the offense-first approach they had in front of Demko, with Demko.

I think they're a superior forechecking team to Edmonton when they're actually trying to do it.

You saw it in period 1 of the prior game. They exposed the Oilers. Why not just stick to that? Seems Tocchet is adverse to doing the run and gun style with Edmonton but at the same time is neutering his own team's offense.
