I dont know about that. I remember seeing a 'Fat People Are Hard to Kidnap' t-shirt.
I thought that got the point across rather well.
In terms of benefits for the heavy-set, thats gotta be up there. No one is grabbing you in VW Golf.

And secondly...they used a hammer and chisel to try and destroy the Magna Carta...which...is straight-up flat-out batcrap nuts.

I don't really get this?
Because we have benefitted from oil for a century, our hands are tied and we have to keep using it?

Yes.
Until you come up with a viable alternative.
If I told you that as of today you could never use an oil-based product again I'd find you tomorrow at the end of a rope. And if its Nylon the irony is even better.
The prospect of just abandoning oil-based products cold-turkey is beyond ridiculous and entirely counter-productive.
I said it before. Transition is good, but slow and steady. And if people want to maintain their living standards? You'd best start building a Nuclear Plant.
Change can and will happen. Just not all at once.

This is a good example of what I mean when I say there is no hope for humanity to make the correct choices.

Ya, but his "articles" will get more and more panicy as it looks to fail. I'd imagine the last ones would just be one word paragraphs as the date approaches.
Eeek.

Dumb.

Says the guy defending the Octogenarians who attempted to destroy the Magna Carta with a hammer and chisel.
Because that was pure Heist genius.

Okay, let’s play would you rather:
Save a copy of the Magna Carta
or
Have your kids and grandkids actually thrive and enjoy their futures?

Would you rather:
Save a piece of History
or
Grandstand and Strawman?
Because for reasons somehow destroying the Magna Carta will magically make Oil disappear.
Genius level stuff.

Technically you'd only be destroying one copy of a piece of history, there are 4 of them.

Have any of these protesters argued that this is their goal?
Nice slogan and all, but i doubt any of these protesters would seriously claim this is the goal - total and immediate end to oil use
