So frustrating. Would be 3-0 if the Canucks could stay out of the damn box.

They need to start skating again. Only got scored on because of 2 questionable penalties.

Is the NHL the only league where you have to beat the other team and the refs?

Just garbage officiating game in and out.

Almost unwatchable. Oilers flopping around every time they are touched, getting phantom calls, and scoring on their predictable PP almost every time.

Seems like McDavid and Drai are out there all the time. How are they sustaining that?

Hope Tochett can instill an “us against the world” mentality because it’s obvious the officials are giving the oilers the advantage here.

Nope. Canucks are something like 10-1-0 or something like that with this ref.

Absolutely not... have you ever heard of a sport called "basketball"?

Is there any word on when Demko will be back?

Guess crosschecks don’t count if you’re an Oiler??

Came home from dinner. Watched the no-goal answer, but I still haven't seen the Vancouver penalty, and don't think the PBP realize there are 2 teams playing. Can only imagine the intermission. Will follow along here. Zero respect for the Oilers.

Feels like the Oilers are 100% on their conversion rate for McPPs. Any penalty taken is an automatic Oiler goal. So annoying.

We need the Coilers to lose this series, but they need to lose it in such a fashion that doesn’t convince them to make any progressive personnel decisions that will lead to success. So far, so good. It’s a very fine line and Silovs makes every game a nail biter.

And again, that's not entirely their choice with these refs.

They could help themselves by skating though.

I think they were hoping for late in the series, like game 6 or 7 if it goes that long.

At this point it won't matter. Their dream will be gone. This is their last chance imo. I can't see them running it back next year, they've already said as much. Drai will likely be gone in the summer if they lose this round.

Why are the whales just giving away possession when they get it?

That's exactly what Tocchet said sunk them in the third period of the last game.

Maybe don't do that?
