I'm not even a casual NBA fan, but I didn't realize it's been 20 years since Minnesota was in round 2. I don't think they've ever been past round two now that I think about it. Probably how casual hockey fans see the Flames...oh yeah there's a team in that city...how long have they been there?

They have been past round two. Ironically, speaking of the Flames, it was in...2004.

Another 48 minutes for Hart tonight, that’s pretty wild. The injuries are piling up though, OG going down is a huge blow. Got to wonder if these huge minutes are a factor with their injuries.

You know if we're going to slag off LeBron as a coach killer, Durant is just as bad. With Vogel now fired that makes six coaches fired since 2019. Evaluating Durant's legacy is going to very interesting.

I don't know what it is with Tatum. The guy is so talented and yet he lacks a certain edge and falls short when his team needs him a lot in the playoffs.

I think you’re onto something. I find the guy very nonchalant about playing hard consistently. I wouldn’t say lazy or intimidated but just can’t together a long stretch of games where he wants to work hard. More losing interest or not feeling like putting in a full effort every game. I do like him a lot though. One of the few players who doesn’t play with a crazy ego.

Durant is a thousand times more insufferable than LeBron.

Just want to say how awesome Mike Breen is. His calls always add to big moments. Last night’s BANG on Nembhard’s shot was a beauty.

This.

Durant is what the Lebron haters claim Lebron is.

You’re right - LeBron’s whole thing is “why don’t you think I’m as great as MJ?”

Durant’s is “why don’t you think I’m as great as LeBron?”

Ironically, the answer to both is “because you’re not.”

Raptors dropped two spots in the lottery and now send the pick to the Spurs. Crappy end to a crappy season, but at least we have all our picks moving forward.

I have no problem with this aside from the initial trade. It was crap then and continues to be. However this was the test to f up. Anyway, Atlanta winning it with such small odds in yet another dramatic move up, kinda makes me question year after year how these things tend to be so dramatic of change in position. The NHL spreads out odds differently but the NBA tends to have changes against the odds most years. Makes me wonder.

Everyone is saying this draft is really weak and next year’s is really strong, so giving up an 8th pick isn’t the end of the world. Fully agreed though that that trade was terrible from day one.

I still think this is a better team next year though, so the pick could be a bunch lower. At least if poop does hit the fan next year we can maybe get lucky with the lottery in a supposedly stronger draft.

Masai has some work to do, the direction of this team has been very bad since the championship.

Shame to see the wolves choke away their advantage. Not good enough I think to beat Jokic consistently. Their defense has gone Mia and their offense can’t keep up with the mvp.

They are gonna need more from Towns if they have a chance to turn it around, did next to nothing in games 3 and 4.

It’s weird to think but this might be the best this Wolves team is going to be. Gobert is getting older, they’re going to lose Conley, towns will likely decline fast. I mean ant, McDaniels, Naz and Neil Alexander are good but they’re likely not getting any more high impact draft picks and they traded tons of picks for Gobert. Problem with nba and nfl these days is a teams run can be over before it even seems to have begun. (See the bengals in the nfl)

Nuggets are known for “playing with their food” and I think we’re seeing that. I always thought they were going to be tough to beat, but I don’t think it’s over yet. I bet it goes 7.

Jokic didnt even know if there were 2 or 3 games left in the series during the on court post game interview. Hes already mentally prepared to win the next 2 (Well 6) games, get drunk at the parade because he likes parades now, and go see his horses

Its over, the playoffs are over, and if Jokic ever decided he actually cares the decade is over.

The Bengals will be relevant as long as Joe Burrow is upright.

Anthony Edwards is at the very beginning of his career - the only way they won’t continue to contend indefinitely is if they try to build a super team instead of real one.
