Both Bieksa and Friedman have the same personality that lends itself to playful banter. I enjoy it.

I dont even watch the panels.

Maclean makes me want to claw my own eyes out so as soon as the period is over I hit 'Mute' or change the channel until the next period starts.

Seems to me that both teams got what they wanted. Z and Lindholm have been major contibutors to a Canuck playoff run. Kuz was non-concequential as he was never going to play for Tocchet in important games. Flames got a bunch of assets that they hope to cash in on.

for now, we are all Canucks at the moment but they have ZERO chance to actually win. Pacific bracket is a false sense of hope for both teams.

extensions with either player would be disastrous IMO, unless they have seriously come down on asks. Actually it might all work out perfect if the Canucks beat the Oilers, get pounded by Colorado, and are forced into bad contracts. We have seen it a million times when teams go on runs and then overpay players thinking it will happen again.

Vegas being a wild card team threw off the bracket big time.

The fact you'd go for yours eyes instead of your ears when the issue is clearly an audio problem tells me you are protecting your lobes. I'm on to you.

I don't think the definition of success for these trades for VAN is only a cup win and nothing else. So far, so good. The "defined" winner of these trades still has many variables to be sorted on both sides.

Yeah I see it at Bieksa chirping how Friedman doesn't have much in the way of hockey knowledge and Friedman chirps about how Bieksa is a novice at broadcasting. It never comes across as being malicious to me and I think that people are reading a lot into something that isn't necessarily there.

What a great game. Dirty to feel happy about a Nucks win, but the alternative is much worse. Uniting in hatred brings us together.

I love when the oilers trolls scatter because they can't face the music after talking up their team in here then losing.

Suck. It. Clowns.

when you spend assets on rentals is pretty hard to justify long term unless you win. In two or three years you can talk about the amazing memories of getting pounded in round three and hopefully the Flames have a few contributing members. I suppose it depends if you think the Canucks have a real shot or not...I don't. Pacific bracket was a joke, these are probably the 11th and 12th best teams in the playoffs.

HAHA, suck it Oilers!!

I tuned into the game late, saw it was 4-1, and immediately turned it right back off. Woke up this morning to see the Oilers choked. Reading through this thread today has been awesome...the cherry on top of the Oilers' loss.

Edmonton's a dump and their team is full of arrogant, entitled, diving, whining, unlikeable d-bags. I eagerly anticipate their next loss in this series and the sad, mystified looks on the faces of their fans and the SN panel (minus Bieksa). I hope the series ends quickly so I can stop supporting the Canucks ASAP and watch them get killed by the Avs.

This series will be decided on how many pps the refs gift the Oilers, and goaltending.

The Canucks are clearly better 5v5.

Drai being broken is also a huge factor, he could barely move...was costing them 5 on 5 (more than usual)

Right, so like i said, there are numerous variables yet to unfold before we can definitively determine a "winner" of these deals. Just as many rental trades have contributed to memorable playoff runs for one organization without resulting in a championship, leaving the assets spent yielding no return for the other team, as there are instances of the team trading away the rentals ending up as the clear winner.

He isn't wrong - people calling in and trolling a radio station need to get a life. It is such a boring and dumb thing to do. I don't know if Oilers fans did that in 2022 but it is incredibly lame no matter who does it in my opinion.

Bringing up legitimate points is one thing but just saying a city is a dump is lame.
