I think that the Canucks and Flames are both happy with the price the Canucks paid for Lindholm.

The jabs between Friedman and Bieksa last night seemed a bit personal. And Friedman even said something about Bieksa after the panel when he appeared later that evening (not about being a fanboy but something else). Maybe they just don’t like each other.

At least Bieksa played for the Canucks most of his career so it's understandable why he may be biased. The rest of the panel are blatant Oilers fanboys to the point it's kind of disturbing on a national broadcast.

Silov's alright, letting in an early couple likely rattled him a bit but he settled down some afterwards. Though it likely really helped the Oilers decided not to take any shots in the 3rd.

If the Canucks can win 1 more before Demko's back they should have this.

I think the kid's not a bad goalie. He had a very bad night though - on a couple he actually moved out of the way of the puck. I think that he will be better and I think Skinner stays the same.

Oh, I know - I said that earlier. Friedman has as much of a soft spot for McDavid as Maclean it seems. Did you hear him gush about McDavid's pretty bland Q&A? "He hates to lose". "He knows he wasn't good enough". When McDavid basically said the Canucks got lucky goals and lierally that he didn't have a problem with the Oilers' game.

One question: How come some fellow Grease haters in here refer to them as "the Oil"? I lived in EDM long enough to know that's the beloved pet name Oiler fans call their team. It sounds like you're a Grease fan when you call them that, just FYI.
