Just tell Drake you're not a teenager. He should leave you alone then.

Really appreciate the fact that this shot pulls off the tough act of being extremely insulting and having layers at the same time lol.

I had to watch this one on delay. Sorry for the late comments.

Okay, lots to unpack in this one.

I thought the first was similar to the previous game for the Bruins. They were slightly better, finding a way to generate offense from turnovers and pressuring the breakouts from Florida.

Thankfully, there was an adjustment by the coaching staff in the 2nd.

The turning point for me was the hit by Kyle Okposo on McAvoy. He clearly ####ed him up to some degree, as he was lost for the rest of the shift, leading to a goal against.

It was a big moment because the Panthers finally gained a lead, but they also physically dominated a very physical player in McAvoy, and he also wasn't himself for the rest of the game. They have a lot of young guys on defense, and McAvoy is their anchor for the d-corps. When he struggled after that, the rest of the defense had trouble filling in for him.

The Panthers were the dominant team for the final 2 periods, and it wasn't close. By the time the score was 4-1, the Bruins decided to goon it up. There was a very good job reporting by Leah Hextall where she indicated that a Bruins player about to go on the ice told his linemates "we're going", suggesting they had no interest in scoring goals, but wanted to be physical with the Panthers. The ensuing shift ended in a nothing shot on net, and almost no physical play in front, but the Bruins instigated a scrum out of nothing, and chaos ensued the rest of the period.

I hate that ####. I don't mind if there's a scrum borne out of a desire to score and a battle for a puck in front of the net. I can't stand the manufactured violence just because you're team is losing. It's ####e sportsmanship, and it's not in the spirit of the game.

#### you Boston, you sore ####ing losers. You didn't see Florida do that #### in game 1.

As an additional note, I think Marchand is a ####ing bitch. He can dish out the trash talk, but he sure can't take it. When Montour scored and stood in front of him #### talking him, he had to scrum it up like a little bitch because his feelings were hurt. He nailed Tkachuk earlier in the game with a big hit, and Matt didn't do anything but play the game, because he understood the nature of the playoffs and not overreacting.

However, when Pastrnak challenged Tkachuk to a fight in the third, and Matty beat his ass, I squealed a little bit.

The Bruins are hoping to win this game with intimidation and physical play. They will soon find out that the Panthers are MORE than happy to play tha type of game, and they'll win it too.

Be careful what you ask for...

On to game 3.

Didn’t clown Tkachuk get kicked out of the first three of their four losses in last year’s Stanley Cup final for attempting to injure Knights players? And he very likely would’ve been kicked out of the deciding game had he not been injured for that game.

Unless you are actually joking, and I am really missing it….

Did you actually watch the game? Pasta tried with Reinhart. Pasta injected himself into scrums

They even showed the sequence on the broadcast - Tkachuk leaning over the boards, saying “Pasta”. Pasta talks to his coach. His coach nods. Pasta leans over the boards, looks at Tkachuk and nods.

They both leave the bench simultaneously and drop their gloves and go mutually. When Tkachuk is down on his back, Pasta is looking furious and seeing how he can try to punch him around the refs

So yeah. Hopefully you’re joking in a way I don’t get. Because otherwise you’re dead ####ing wrong

Sorry

They were both complicit here

So you're just gonna leave out the part where Tkachuk knocked Pasta on his back, hesitates for a moment, and then unloads anyways? I don't blame Pasta for trying to get him through the refs. Clown move by Tkachuk.

Heaven forbid someone treat the absurd spectacle that is fighting in hockey like an actual fight and not a college wrestling match.

I don't see the issue here. Two guys battling and agreeing to fight. So when they both hop out for their next shift, they fight. People are saying Chucky only punches down, but Pasta asked him to go, and he obliged. What's the problem here?

The sanitization of what once was a way better game.

That's such a weird thing to say, Eric. Where do you even know Mr. Pastrnak from?

I don’t even think it’s the sanitation angle. That would at least be understandable. It’s old school “code” guys who don’t like it, not because he fought, but because he didn’t fight “right.”

Just silly.

I don't really understand any of what I have read the last few pages.
Good on Pasta for going with Chuckie, knowing it wasn't going to end well. You won't see mcdoofus or Drai ever drop gloves.
Unnecessary but expected late shot by Tkachuk, Pastrnak tried unsuccessfully to return favor.
Well done both and play on.

Was never a fan of his mouthguard chewing here but now since he is no longer a Flame.... I can't wait for a puck or a high stick to knock out all of his front teeth! lol

Why even have it on if you are going to chew it like gum. hahaha
