This is a very juicy setup for another Toronto game 7 loss against the Bruins.

Bs can't close.

With their first round loss to Florida last season, is this going to become a trend for them that plagues them mentally?

If Treliving celebrating isn't enough to make you cheer against TO, nothing is.

The only thing that would support this argument is the Leafs history, except the Bruins recent choking history is quite bad too. I actually suspect the opposite, Bruins play scared again and get blown out.

I will say, Willie Nylander is a champ.

Comes in and carries the offense on a team where 2-3 other guys are looked at to be that guy.

Because Boaton has had enough playoff success over the years and it's okay if it's their turn to eat a bag of dicks.

Yea, I think the Leafs are gonna take the series. Their confidence and belief in each other must be through the roof right now, and you can tell the doubt is definitely creeping in for Boston. I think the B’s are gonna blow it.

They aren't as dominant of a team as they would seem based on points. Pastrnak is an absolute superstar, and Marchand and Mcavoy are fantastic players but what star power do they have after that?

Sure the Bruins had 109 points but they also had 15 OT/SO losses, or what we commonly call "loser points". They only had 36 regulation wins, which was less than Tampa Bay, a Wild Card team. That ranks them 12th of the 16 playoff teams.

The team plays a strong team structure with good defense, checking and goaltending, and that will get you a long way in the NHL. But come the playoffs, it's clear that star power is what separates the great teams from the merely "good" teams. The Avs/Jets series demonstrated that very clearly.

It's gonna be a wild game 7, that's all I can say.

I'll take the Leafs having a cup run over Edmonton. 7 times week and twice on Sundays.

Toronto, Ontario.

I don't know if that's actually why it's "TO", but that's my guess.

How about both just fail and get wiped before the third round?
