Since we're on the track of old bands and Alberta's on the Crazy Train: Given that our premier is totally batty, could we get Ozzy to come to town and bite her head off?

How about just leaving the Calgary stop out of this one?

That would be impractical.

Calgary is nowhere near the Chicago area.

There's a reddit thread about it being Banff-Calgary too. Supposedly the announcement is at noon.

I could see that. With perhaps similar for Edmonton.
Personally I think bus service might be a better start than full on rail (lower cost, higher frequency.) We'll see what comes out of this I guess.

Obviously Chicago is much larger and has denser suburbs.
Im not suggesting we build 11 lines into downtown from the suburbs.

But If Calagry had 4 lines from Okotoks, Cochrane, Airdrie and Strathmore. Everyone's commute and life would be better.

There's also, like, 10 million people in that Chicago area.

Can't we at least have reliable transit within our city before we start adding all this stuff outside of it?

Aside from the Red Line, this is probably closer to reality than most people think. The next three Blue Line stations have just been awarded, in anticipation of shortly thereafter connecting that line to the airport, and then subsequently the Green Line as well.
