I hate the Leafs so much them having Gio and Brodie doesn't even move the needle.

Am jealous of the Bruins organisation. Always competitive despite not a lot of high draft picks and when they do rebuild it lasts 2 years at most. Hopefully they can close out the 3-1 lead this year.

Unironically, the Leafs probably would be better in the playoffs if they had Sutter behind the bench. But we all know that's not gonna happen. Especially with Brad as GM now

No coach can help the leafs. They need to rebuild. Of course they just signed them all to extensions.

If the Leafs were up 3-1 in this series, I would still expect the Bruins to proceed to the next round.

I didn't think the Leafs would make this series so dismal. Game 2 was pretty exciting and Auston was great.

BT did a terrible job imo when he got there. They needed to solidly the defensive group and the goaltending. Instead he went out and signed an offensive D man who can't play in his own zone and was broken and forward depth in Bertuzzi and Domi they didn't need. Hopefully the Bruins sweep this up next game.

I don't think Markstrom would be their target. I could see Saros given the younger age. Marner + Minten or something, I could see happening. Then they'd wait the season out until Tavares' contract is done to use that money on D.

Even Sutter couldn't work with that defense core to small soft can't even clear the net traffic.

Also I should add, the Leafs are losing to Boston because Boston is just a better team. Seems obvious, but it’s true and so the frustration is kind of funny. As if they thought they actually had a chance here. Boston is way, way, way better.

Leafs get a new GM and make all the same mistakes they have been making for the last 5+ years. D and goaltending win Championships, this isn't new.
