Yeah, Makar will be an even rarer case as he's a league superstar. Colorado will pay what it takes to keep him and based on location and where there team will likely be when he's up? No chance he isn't re-signed.

They won't let him get to the last season of his contract, so that means he's two seasons from a contract extension. Do you see this Av's team not being a contender in two years? Me either. So they already have the biggest chip in their pocket "we're a Stanley Cup contender". Zero, zero chance. He'll sign for a massive contract in Colorado and they'll do what it takes to fit it in.

Tripping is not reviewable, high sticking is.

I'm actually still quite impressed with the Jets. They've continued to come back and push even though I think the Avs have stepped up their game tonight. Georgiev is out-goaltending Hellebuyck and the Avs stars have come to play.

When the Avs are on their game they are tough to handle with their transition game. Not sure how the Jets will be able to slow them down enough to win three of the next four games.
